THE GREATEST SACRIFICE OF ALL

Matthew 20:28

Truth: Our military served and sacrificed for us. Jesus served and sacrifice for us. Christians are saved to serve and sacrifice. Are you living a life of sacrifice?

I. OUR MILITARY SERVED AND SACRIFICED FOR US

1. They thought of others not themselves. Phil 2:3-4
2. They served.
3. They sacrificed.
4. They brought freedom to old glory.

II. JESUS CHRIST SERVED AND SACRIFICED FOR US

1. Jesus thought of us and not himself. Phil 2:5-6
2. Jesus served. Phil 2:7; Matt 20:28; John 13:4-5
3. Jesus sacrificed Himself. Phil 2:8; Matt 20:28
4. Jesus glorified God the Father. Phil 2:9-11

III. CHRISTIANS ARE SAVED TO SERVE AND SACRIFICE

1. We are to think of others not ourselves. Phil 2:5; James 4:6,10
2. We are to serve. 1 Peter 4:10-11
3. We are to sacrifice. Rom 12:1; Rom 6:13
4. We are to bring glory to God. Phil 2:12-15
