YOU CAN TRUST THE LORD

Isa 40:27-31

Truth: The Lord totally understands. The Lord empowers us to do His will. The Lord wants us to wait on Him. How much do you trust Him?

I. THE LORD TOTALLY UNDERSTANDS

1. The Lord is omnipresent. Isa 40:28, Psa 139:7-10, Prov 15:3, Jer 23:23-24.
2. The Lord is omnipotent. Isa 40:28, Psa 33:6, 8-9
3. The Lord is omniscient. Isa 40:28, 1 John 3:20, Acts 1:24, Psa 147:5, Rom 11:33.

II. THE LORD EMPOWERS US TO DO HIS WILL

1. The Lord gives us wisdom to know His will. Isa 40:29, James 1:5, 2 Tim 3:16-17.
2. The Lord prepares us to do His will. Isa 40:28, Eph 2:10, 2 Cor 3:5
3. The Lord works His power through us to do His will. Isa 40:29, Phil 4:13, 2 Cor 12:9.

III. THE LORD WANTS US TO WAIT FOR HIS WILL

1. To wait on the Lord is to trust Him. Isa 40:30, Isa 26:3-4, Psa 37:3-5.
2. To wait on the Lord is to be strong in Him. Eph 6:10, Col 3:10, Eph 6:17.
3. To wait on the Lord is to walk in the Spirit. John 16:13, 1 John 2:20.

HOW MUCH DO YOU TRUST THE LORD?
